Gadget

The gadget I decided to add to my blog is the follow by email gadget. In order to add this to my blog I went into the layout section and clicked on add a gadget in the layout window. After scrolling through all the available choices I decided on follow by email. I then clicked add and it was added to my blog. Once it was on the blog I clicked on the box, which was the follow email gadget and moved it over to the place in my blog where I wanted it to be. Once it was in the proper place I previewed my blog, liked how it looked, and then click save arrangement and it was on my blog to stay unless I take it away. The purpose of the gadget is to allow readers to be notified as soon as a new post is entered through their email. People who are interested can enter their personal emails, and every time a post is entered they will be notified by email that something new has been added to my blog. I feel like this will add value because readers will be able to know that something new has been added to be read, and will be able to know this without going to the blog website and checking. This way they can go to my blogs website and already know there is something new to check out.
